Though Genelia D’Souza is a big star down South in Andhra Pradesh’s Telgu film industry, she is still a relatively new comer to the Bollywood. Despite the fact that her first film in Hindi Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, which was released in 2008, was a major success at the Box Office, she has been rather slow in signing new projects in Mumbai. One of the major reasons for this slow pace may be that she has so much work down South that she doesn’t have time to even think of Bollywood. She proudly says that when it comes to the Telgu film industry, she has become such a big name that characters and films are actually written keeping her in mind.
But, that doesn’t mean in any way that she is not open to Bollywood. So, recently, when she was offered a project called Yahoo, she quickly said yes to it. Says Genelia, “First, the film had a nice storyline and secondly, it was offered by the production house of my good friend Ken Ghosh, so there was no question of rejecting it
